FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) An establishment which was founded in 1983 by the famous engineer and inventor Dean Lawrence Kamen, FIRST is a non-profit organization that encourages young people in the fields of science and technology.
The main purpose of this Manchester-based community; to develop young people,regardless of gender, in the fields of engineering and STEM; to inspire them, to instill self-confidence and to provide them with versatile life capabilities such as leadership and innovative communication skills.
As we approach these goals step by step, we strive to develop and show the best performance without compromisingFIRST's principles based on "exploration, innovation, effective use, teamwork, gracious professionalism and having fun by spending quality time".
FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) teaches to be able to work as a team under limited resources and challenging psychological conditions, to produce solutions, to act in accordance with a plan and directive. In this process, members of each team create their own unique logos, functional and industrial robots, and financial resources. And they advance towards the championship by fighting against their opponents in the most efficient way on the field.
